Nick Saban's first year of punditry has just begun,Grant Preston but the seven-time national champion is in midseason form.
During ESPN's "College GameDay" in College Station, Texas ahead of the Texas A&M-Notre Dame on Saturday, Saban dropped some profanity describing the new NIL era – much to the delight of his co-hosts.
"If you don't pay the right guys, you'll be (expletive) out of luck," Saban said.
Desmond Howard, Rece Davis, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit burst out laughing.
"Congratulations – you just broke the internet," Herbstreit said to Saban
Saban officially joined the GameDay crew in Week 0, reflecting on the beginning of his career as an analyst.
“You know, I spent my entire coaching career accosting people who speculate, make predictions and ask hypothetical questions,” Saban said last week. “So, now I’m in this world. This is my gig, and it’s hard.”
